The 2022 Chengdu Europe Culture Season kicked off on April 22 in Chengdu and will last till August, facilitating more cultural exchanges between Chengdu and Europe with over 10 wonderful cultural events.

Organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chengdu Municipal People's Government, the cultural feast has been successfully held for five times since 2017, introducing more than 50 dazzling cultural events, such as art exhibitions, concerts, online forums, and virtual museum tours. 

With Ireland as the guest of honor of the 2022 Chengdu Europe Culture Season, Chengdu will bring more than ten arts and cultural activities such as art exhibitions, concerts, movie weeks and thematic experiences to visitors, joining hands with the embassies and consulates of Ireland, Slovenia, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria and other European countries in China, as well as friendly cities such as Montpellier (France), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Maastricht (Netherlands), Milan (Italy), Vienna (Austria), Izmir (Turkey), Tilburg (Netherlands), Madrid (Spain) and Manchester (UK).
