During an online meeting on June 20, representatives from Qingyang District of Chengdu City and Livorno City of Italy signed a memorandum of friendship and cooperation relationship that formalized the two sides' friendship and collaboration.

 

The relationship between China and Italy is at an all-time high right now. Both sides are renewing their cultural and tourism exchange activities and there is a wide range of potential areas for cooperation. Qingyang District and Livorno City have conducted multiple exchanges and cooperative projects in the areas of education, culture, tourism and economy since their tie-up in 2018.

 

In the future, the Qingyang District and the Livorno City will actively cultivate and develop friendly relations, promote practical cooperation in various fields, further improve the exchange and cooperation mechanism, effectively benefit the people of the two places, and make new contributions to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between Italy and China.
