Chengdu launches the country's first hotpot-themed sightseeing bus on May 20, which connects a series of nighttime landmark spots in the city, offering visitors a new option to go around the city and experience its night views.

 

The hotpot sightseeing bus allows visitors to enjoy the spicy Sichuan hotpot while appreciating the night scenery along the way, which realizes the integration of food, transport and tourism, according to the Chengdu Bus Group. 

 

 

In addition to the tasty spicy hotpot, the bus is equipped with a traveling assistant to explain the cultural origins of hotpot and tell stories about the attractions along the way.

 

The ticket for the sightseeing bus is 89 RMB, which covers the fee for transport, food package, interpretation, etc. and each ticket can accommodate two or three consumers. The bus is available for booking from May 20 to June 19, running for one month only.

 

The bus will begin its journey at 19:00 PM every day. Starting from Chunxi Road and passing through nighttime landmarks such as Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li, Wangping Street, Sichuan TV Tower, Tianfu Square, the whole trip will take about 90 minutes. 

 

This hotpot-themed sightseeing bus, which has the best of two worlds, is proving popular among poeple of all ages.
