The 32nd Autumn in Chengdu International Music Season is set to kick off. The dance drama A Tapestry of a Legendary Land will run for six consecutive performances. September in Chengdu promises a feast of artistic excellence.
Autumn in Chengdu International Music Season

The opening concert of the 32nd Autumn in Chengdu International Music Season will take place at 19:30 on September 27 at Chengdu Open Air Music Park with an innovative open-air symphony performance for an audience of tens of thousands. Yu Long will serve as artistic advisor and conductor, and Xiao Ying will serve as chief director. The concert will bring together a host of acclaimed artists, including Liao Changyong and Shi Yijie, alongside Chengdu Symphony Orchestra. Professional choruses, including Sichuan Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Xingkong Chorus from the Music College of Sichuan Normal University, will join the performance.

The opening concert will feature an immersive dual experience combining a daytime fair with an evening concert. The special music fair will open to the public at 14:00 on September 27. Street performers will take turns presenting folk music, instrumental performances, and live vocals. The lively sounds of music and the vibrant atmosphere of the fair complement each other beautifully.
