Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station is the tallest dam in the world, towering 315 meters above the Dadu River in SW China's Sichuan Province. With three generating units in full operation as of Aug. 31, the dam is expected to produce about 7.7 billion kWh of clean electricity each year.
