On April 15, the 13th China Internet Audio and Video Convention kicked off in Chengdu. The main events of this year’s convention will run from April 14 to 16 in Chengdu, with supporting activities lasting for one week.

The convention adopts a “4+8+8+N” framework, including four key events, eight forums on hot topics, eight industry chain sectors, and a series of public engagement activities. It will delve into pressing issues such as the flourishing of new popular literary and artistic creation, AI-driven industry development, audio-video stimulated consumption, and the global distribution of online audio and video content.、
The "Report on the Development of China's Internet Audio and video Industry (2026)" was released at the conference.
According to the report, as of December 2025, the number of internet audio and video users in China reached 1.099 billion, a net increase of 7.76 million year on year.
Among major internet applications with user penetration rates above 80%, short video is the only one that continues to see growth in both usage rate and user numbers.
Estimates indicate that the market size of China's internet audio and video industry reached 1.29 trillion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 5.3%, hitting a record high.
