Construction has commenced on an Integrated Air-Rail Transportation Hub project located in Jianyang Airport Economic Industrial Park. With a total investment of RMB 1.5 billion, the project occupies 57 mu (approx. 3.8 hectares) and features a total floor area of about 180,000 square meters. Beyond integrating with the planned Metro Line 18 and the Chengdu-Chongqing High-speed Railway, the hub will incorporate functions such as transport interchange and a city terminal. It will also house airline headquarters, star-rated hotels, conference/exhibition facilities, and international consumption services.
