From May 16 to 23, the 28th Congress and 93rd Annual Meeting of International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD) were held in Chengdu. During the opening ceremony, Chengdu Declaration on Dams and Reservoirs for Energy Transition and Adaptation to Climate Change was signed and released. As the fourth global declaration issued by ICOLD since its establishment, it highlights China’s leading role in the international dam engineering sector.
