On January 1, a China-Europe freight train, loaded with luxury furniture, wine, and precision instruments, successfully arrived at Chengdu International Railway Port in Qingbaijiang District after more than ten days of travel, marking the beginning of a new year for China Railway Express (Chengdu). This train departed from Piacenza, Italy and was connected in Łódź, Poland to China Railway Express (Chengdu) train with full operation schedule. This is the fourth station added in Italy after Milan, La Spezia, and Genoa. With this new route, the number of overseas cities connected by China Railway Express (Chengdu) has now increased to 119.
