The 81st World Science Fiction Convention (Worldcon) closed on October 22 night at the Chengdu Science Fiction Museum in the Pidu District of Chengdu.

 

 

At the closing ceremony, Ben Yalow, co-chairman of the 2023 Chengdu Worldcon, and Liang Xiaolan, honorary chair of the 2023 Chengdu Worldcon, delivered speeches.

 

At the closing ceremony, winners of the Best Fan Party, the Best Fan Table, and the gold awards for the Call for Young Adult Literature and Art of the "Fictional Enjoyment of Future" Excellent Traditional Chinese Theme Science Fiction Works were announced. Also, the Chengdu Worldcon Brand Promotion Center was established with Hai Ya, Lu Ban, Ren Qing, Zhao Enzhe, and Jiu Li becoming the tutors of the Hugo X College.
