As temperatures climb, a day on the water is the perfect cure for summer heat. An exhilarating rafting adventure allows all to enjoy the refreshing coolness of summer with every splash.

 

Gongjia Mountain Rafting

 

 

The newly upgraded 4.6-kilometer professional rafting course lies hidden in the dense forests in the northern part of Longquan Mountain Urban Forest Park. With the total vertical drop measuring 396 meters, including an extreme 70-meter drop, and 80% of the course shaded by lush trees, it offers both the thrill of rushing down drops and the chance to breathe in the fresh mountain air.

Visitors may set directions to 龚家山漂流 (“Gongjia Mountain Rafting”).

By Public Transport

Chengdudong Railway Station or Beihu Coach Station → Jintang Coach Station → Transfer to a direct shuttle bus or take a taxi

 

Hongkou Rafting

 

 

Hongkou Rafting, located at Hongkou Scenic Area, Longchi Township, Dujiangyan City, stretches for 10 kilometers with more than 20 drops along the course and a relative drop of approximately 90 meters. It takes around 50 minutes to complete the full route.

 

 

Transportation Guide

Visitors who drive may set the destination to 都江堰虹口漂流 (“Dujiangyan Hongkou Rafting”) on their map app. Parking is conveniently available at the scenic area.

 

Danjinggu Drifting

 

 

Currently, there are two rafting courses available, which span a total length of six kilometers with a total drop of 268 meters. Cave passages, sharp bends, thrilling surfing sections, and other experience zones are set up along the courses.

By Car

Visitors may set directions to 成都丹景谷漂流1号停车场 (“Chengdu Danjinggu Drifting Parking Lot 1”). Free shuttle buses to the Visitor Center are available after parking.

By Public Transport

Chengdu Metro Sancha Station → Bus 13 East → Get off at Leidashi Stop, walk to Parking Lot 1, and take a free shuttle bus to the Visitor Center.

 

Chongzhou Jiulong Valley Rafting

 

 

The course spans approximately four kilometers and takes about 60 minutes to complete. The seamless blend of natural terrain and the rafting course brings visitors an exciting experience of “rafting through the rapids”.

Visitors may set directions to 九龙沟漂流 (“Jiulong Valley Rafting”).

By Public Transport

There are direct buses from Chadianzi Coach Station to Jiulong Valley (Jiulong Valley Rafting). The ride takes about 1.5 hours.
