Recently, ICE PANDA, China’s first indoor ice climbing facility, has officially opened at Summit There Futian TOD in Chengdu Future Science and Technology City.

Located in Building W7, Summit There Futian TOD, Chengdu Future Science and Technology City, ICE PANDA covers an area of over 1,600 square meters. At its center stands a 12.5-meter-high professional main ice wall, which is properly divided into three difficulty zones—a 60° gentle slope, a 79° steep slope, and a 90° vertical ice wall. Ice climbing enthusiasts of all levels can enjoy the sport any season of the year.

Through its four core features—experience, training, sports events, and cultural tourism—ICE PANDA builds a new and integrated ecosystem for ice and snow sports to popularize ice climbing on all fronts.

The facility is equipped with top-grade equipment and staffed by certified coaches. Its training sessions follow a carefully designed progression from beginner to advanced levels. It ensures safety through a comprehensive protection system that is supported by equipment, staff, and process.

More than a professional sports venue, the ice climbing facility aims to create a diverse lifestyle scenario where sports are integrated with social connection. It is designed to offer an ice climbing experience on the first floor, a lounge area upstairs, and a dedicated social zone that offers coffees during the daytime and drinks at night.
