During this National Day holiday, Woodpark Ice Climbing Gym, China’s first indoor ice climbing facility with direct metro access, welcomed its first visitors at Chengdu Future Science and Technology City. Covering approximately 2,000 square meters, the facility features a 12.5-meter-high ice wall at the center constructed using international competition-grade refrigeration technology that imitates the natural formation of icefall. During the trial operation around the National Day holiday, the facility welcomed a daily average of over 200 visitors, some of whom came from other cities by air.
