The heat wave has swept across parts of China this summer. 　

 

In addition to shopping malls and libraries, many residents were spotted enjoying the cool air of air-raid shelters in Chengdu recently.

 

The No.1 Air-Raid Shelter, built in 1965, witnessed a group of local residents cooling off. The local government also prepared water dispensers, newspaper racks and medical kits inside the air-raid shelter.
