At the meeting, the International Enterprise Singapore (IE), Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation, and management committee of the Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone (CDHT) inked an MoU of cooperation, to jointly facilitate the construction of the Singapore-Sichuan Hi-Tech Innovation Park (SSCIP), create an ecology of innovation for the SSCIP, push for the establishment of the Sichuan Innovation Center (SIC), promote the exchanges and cooperation between Singapore and Sichuan, as well as to provide support for the SIC.

On the day, agreements for five projects from five companies were reached at the meeting. All the projects will be located inside the SSCIP. In addition, the event witnessed the conclusion of collaboration deals between other four companies and the CDHT management committee and Chengdu Hi-tech Investment Group Co., Ltd., respectively.

 

The SSCIP is the first-ever, iconic integrated urban development project co-invested by Singapore and China's Sichuan Province. It has accomplished a fixed-asset investment of RMB10.7 billion and introduced nearly 100 projects.
