Jiuzhaigou Resort reopens end of this month, Hilton Relaunches First Hotel here

Hilton announced Sept.20 the relaunch of Hilton Jiuzhaigou Resort, marking the flagship brand's long-anticipated return to Jiuzhaigou Resort, exactly two years after the site being devastated by a strong earthquake.
 
Home to a UNESCO World Heritage national park famed for its natural beauty and biodiversity, Jiuzhaigou is about 540 km from Chengdu and offers travelers a stunning getaway on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau.
 
 
Featuring 421 rooms, suites and villas, the resort is nestled in the lush hills of the Min Mountains. Hilton Jiuzhaigou Resort is owned by Shandong Luneng Group Limited Company and managed by Hilton.
 
 
As Chengdu is attracting more and more domestic and foreign travelers to visit, Hilton has updated its amenities and service standards to meet the continually evolving needs of the modern day global travelers.

While Jiuzhaigou has received more than 32 million tourists from home and abroad over the past decade. It closed on Aug. 8, 2017 due to the earthquake and it will reopen on September 27, 2019.
