Recently Chengdu Yandaojie Foreign Language School (East District) and the Montfort College Primary Section in Thailand held an online contracting ceremony to establish a sister-school relationship. It focused on implementing education's fundamental task and expanding intercultural communication.
School leaders and representatives of teachers and students from both schools attended the online contracting ceremony.

Thai students performed an extraordinary "Muay Thai" show at the ceremony. In the speech, Dean Saishan Shakong Tawa of the Montfort College Primary Section expressed his vision to establish a sister-school relationship with the Chengdu side.

Liu Jianzhou, Principal of Chengdu Yandao Foreign Language School (East District), stated both sides had conducted sound cooperation since 2015. He also expressed his anticipation of building a close connection between the two schools.
After the contracting ceremony, Chinese and Thai students attended paper-cutting classes and interacted online. They created hand-made pieces of paper-cut for window decoration, with tiger motif. Yandaojie School brought traditional Chinese art forms to Thailand's teachers and students through the demonstration.

This ceremony strengthened the connection between the two schools and gave a vivid understanding of internationalization for students in both schools. It also encouraged students to participate in cross-cultural communication actively and respect the diversity of world cultures.
