Léman International School Chengdu Celebrates 10th Anniversary
Léman International School Chengdu (LIS) celebrated its 10th Anniversary at the Fairmont Hotel on September 17, 2019.
With a capacity to accommodate 1,200 students, LIS was founded in 2009 and has enrolled students from over 20 countries and regions.
The celebration was well attended by the guests and everyone enjoyed the evening in a lovely ancient-style Chinese ballroom. The celebration started with a performance called "Early Spring" by violinist Scarlet Zhang, a 4th grader of the school. Then Tom Ferguson, principal of the school, gave welcome to all the guests, and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Andrew Fitzmaurice also sent a congratulatory video from headquarters in London.
