From July 3 to 5, Chengdu’s original IP Panda the Musical was staged at the 19th Daegu International Musical Festival in the Republic of Korea. Focusing on the giant panda IP, the musical skillfully incorporates Sichuan Opera and other unique cultural elements of Sichuan into the performance and integrates national-level intangible cultural heritage techniques, such as Tibetan hand-weaving techniques using yak hair and wool, into the design language of its costumes.
