After four years in Chengdu, Austrian Consul General Günther Lazelsberger is saying goodbye to the city he’s come to know so well. Affectionately known as “Lao Lei” to many Chengdu locals, he’s become a familiar face and a beloved local personality. Before he left, we handed him a film camera and asked him to capture Chengdu as he sees it. Here’s to his Memories of Chengdu.
