Recently, Chengdu Agricultural Trade Wholesale Market unveiled a list of Chengdu people's top 10 favorite seafood, representing what consumers should expect to see on the food scene.

 

Clams with annual sales of nearly 40,000 tons ranks first according to the statistics from the list, followed by Oyster products with an annual figure of nearly 27,000 tons. In the Chengdu Agricultural Trade Wholesale Market, oysters are as cheap as 1 yuan per piece.

In third place of the list goes to the shrimp, and abalone follows this. The price of abalone is at least a few yuan per piece. Salmon with affordable prices and layered taste is also loved by Chengdu citizens, ranking fifth in the list.

The sixth to tenth seafood in terms of sales are Boston lobster, scallops, iron crab, mantis shrimp, and king crab.
