Author: Gochengdu 2022-04-06
Sichuan Cherries grow at altitudes of 1500 – 2600 metres in forests or on forest edges.

They are known for their sweet taste and red colour. The gathering period is only half a month because the skin is thin and tender. Cherries are perishable in transit and can only be stored at room temperature for one or two days; thus, it is rare to find them in other seasons.

The cherry-gathering season around Chengdu ends in early May, and the nearest cherry mountain to Chengdu is located in Pujiang county.
