Chengdu Celebrates Its First Three MICHELIN Stars Restaurant
The new MICHELIN Guide Chengdu includes 15 star-rated restaurants. Yu Zhi Lan has retained its Two-Star rating, while Xin Rong Ji has risen from Two to Three MICHELIN Stars, becoming Chengdu’s first Three-Star establishment. Additionally, 11 restaurants have retained their One-Star rating, and two new restaurants have debuted on the list with One MICHELIN Star—Focus by Bill Yue, known for its creative cuisine, and Zinan, a refined Sichuan cuisine restaurant.
Xin Rong Ji

Xin Rong Ji remains committed to the authentic flavors of Taizhou cuisine, guided by the principle that “authenticity is the foundation of the finest cuisine”. Throughout three years of development in Sichuan, it has incorporated the essence of Sichuan cuisine and local Bashu ingredients into its recipes and practiced the philosophy of growing and thriving alongside the region.

The restaurant’s menu is based on Japanese and French cuisine. Its creative dishes crafted from premium ingredients are infused with the chef’s distinctive personal style.
Zinan

The cooks select high-quality local ingredients and pair them with house-made condiments, such as broadbean paste, soy sauce, and pickles. Staying true to traditional Sichuan flavors, the restaurant serves a range of authentic homemade dishes and nostalgic handmade specialties.
Seven restaurants have obtained Chengdu Bib Gourmand recognition for the first time for their delicious and affordable food. They include Ban Tian Te Se Mian, known for its Sichuan-style noodles; Da Ya Ji, Gui Tian Yuan Zi, and Mao Wu Da Jiu Dian, which serve authentic Sichuan cuisine; No. 37 Lao Yuan Ba Chao Shou and Ren Ren Shui Jiao, which offer Sichuan-style chaoshou wonton and jiaozi; and Xiao You Shao Mai (Qingyang), which specializes in Leshan snacks, such as shaomai, tofu pudding, and steamed dumplings in bone broth.
The new list of MICHELIN-Selected restaurants reflects Chengdu’s diverse culinary charm. A total of 37 restaurants representing 15 different cooking styles have been included, including two newly recognized establishments—Fu Rong Chuan and Xiao Ya Tang Wu, both of which are Sichuan cuisine restaurants.
