Recently, the "Implementation Plan for the Joint Constrcution of Port Logistics System of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") has been announced and implemented.

The "Plan" clearly proposes the collaborative construction of regional port logistics in four aspects: overall promotion of network operation, cultivation and improvement of economic development, construction and operation of facilities by cooperation, and optimization of the coordinated development environment, and clarifies a list of 20 key matters (2022-2025).

 

The "Plan" clarifies supporting the cross-shareholding of airport groups in the two places to build a strategic alliance of Chengdu-Chongqing Airlines, promoting the open sharing of resources of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, expanding international aviation transit, and jointly building an international aviation hub. Airports in Chengdu-Chongqing region will strive to achieve an annual cargo and mail throughput of 1.5 million tons, and international routes in Chengdu-Chongqing region will strive to cover 130 cities by 2025.
