The Chengdu International Speed Festival 2026 will be held from October 16 to 18 at Tianfu International Circuit, Chengdu Eastern New Area.

 

During the festival, the FIA TCR World Tour will be held in Chengdu for the first time.

 

The TCR World Tour, a top-level mass-produced touring car racing series certified by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), is acclaimed as the “World Cup” of touring car racing. Using vehicles modified from commercially available models, manufacturers and top drivers are brought together in the same arena. Evolving from the renowned World Touring Car Cup (WTCR), the tour belongs to the FIA’s top-tier event lineup alongside F1, the World Rally Championship (WRC), and the World Endurance Championship (WEC). It represents the highest level of mass-produced touring car racing.

 

 

According to the 2026 schedule announced by the FIA, the TCR World Tour consists of eight events, with stops in Italy, Spain, France, and Portugal before heading to Asia, where Chengdu will host the sixth event. This marks the first time the prestigious event will be held at Tianfu International Circuit, and it stands as the highest-level international auto racing event ever held in southwestern China.

 

 

According to the agenda of the TCR World Tour Chengdu, three races will be held. The Qualifying will take place on the morning of October 17, followed by the Opening Ceremony and R1 Race in the afternoon. The R2 Race and R3 Race will be held on the morning and afternoon of October 18 respectively.

 

 

This weekend features more than one auto racing event. During the Chengdu International Speed Festival 2026 from October 16 to 18, seven qualifying sessions, nine races, and one launch event will be held at Tianfu International Circuit. In addition to the TCR World Tour, a variety of events will be held, including the TCR China Championship, the Lotus Cup China, and the Geely Super Cup Pro.

 

 

Apart from exciting races, the global launch event of the new GEELY Xingrui L PLUS model will be open to all ticketed attendees. Participants will witness the new model’s debut on-site and take part in the Geely Technology Interactive Experience Day, where they can gain close-up insights into frontier automotive technologies. A mysterious guest will appear at the launch event to add to the excitement—stay tuned!
