Léman International School Chengdu Introduces International Performing Art Program
The Julliard-Nord Anglia Performing Art Program launch ceremony was held at Léman International School Chengdu (LIS).
The Julliard-Nord Anglia Performing Art Program launch ceremony was held at LIS on Nov. 14, amid the performances by famous musicians from home and abroad and the school's student symphony orchestra.
With a capacity to accommodate 1,200 students, LIS was founded in 2009 and has enrolled students from over 20 countries and regions.
The newly introduced performing art program is part of the cooperation between the school and the world-known Juilliard School, from the Now York City, USA.
Chengdu has a growing number of international schools, including LIS, Montpellier Primary School, QSI International School and so on, and so far about 1,500 expatriate children are studying in the city.
