Chen Guangxian, a 69-year-old resident of Chengdu, enjoys dressing up in Hanfu (Chinese traditional clothing). Referred to as the "Hanfu Grandpa", he has been invited to take on the roles of well-known Chinese poets like Qu Yuan and Du Fu.

 

As a photographer who helped taking pictures for the Hanfu community, Chen first became interested in Hanfu in 2012. Later, he started donning Hanfu himself and developed a liking for it.

 

According to Chen, if a person has a young heart, they will never age, and he will wear Hanfu for as long as his body will let him. He said, "What I wear represents my confidence in Chinese traditional culture."
