Su Shi (courtesy name Zizhan, literary name Dongpo), born in Meishan City, Sichuan, was a famous statesman, writer, calligrapher and painter of the Song Dynasty. Though he experienced ups and downs in his life, he still forged ahead, achieving outstanding and multi-faceted achievements.

 

Sichuan Museum, together with 38 museums inside and outside Sichuan province, jointly holds an exhibition on Su Shi. Visitors can learn about Su Shi's life through hundreds of cultural relics. This exhibition also displays precious authentic works of Su Shi.
