Head to a mountain forest for a soak in the colors of autumn, find an open courtyard to bask in the autumn sunshine and gather around a tea-boiling stove, or simply collect and take home fallen leaves and ripe fruits on the ground—there are many ways to enjoy autumn.
Chengdu creates unique memories of autumn in its own way.
Yuhuang Mountain Scenic Area in Jintang County

Set amid 500 mu of contiguous ecological persimmon orchards, the scenic area now presents a promenade featuring red maples, ginkgo trees, and seasonal views. The event runs through the end of December. Red maple leaves, ginkgo foliage, and persimmons cascade in layers. A themed setting celebrates a bountiful harvest, complete with real and artificial pumpkins and persimmons hanging at varying heights. It presents a perfect place for photos.
Chen Jin Tea Shop

Adjacent to the ancient Tiexiang Temple, the tea shop has more than a hundred tables and several hundred chairs, yet it still cannot meet demand during peak hours.
Bamboo Forest Courtyard Tea

The spot is situated within Wangjianglou Park by the Jinjiang River. The gentle rustling of bamboo leaves in the breeze and a sip of hot tea fill the body and mind with autumnal contentment.
Tea by the Stove

At Eastern Suburb Memory, orange peel and red dates steam on the wire rack of a charcoal stove. Old red-brick factory buildings and a steam locomotive provide a distinctive backdrop for enjoying the autumn sunshine.
Longquan Mountains

In addition to colorful fallen leaves, an approximately 6.5-kilometer ridge trail from Xiangzhang Courtyard to Shijing Temple is dotted with fallen pinecones, wild jujubes, and chestnuts that visitors can collect along the way. Pinecones are especially abundant on the hill behind Shijing Temple. Squirrels spotted along the trail add a delightful surprise to the experience.
Chengdu Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area

Autumn treasure collection and medal rewards are bundled in one event! Three hiking routes offer three different medals. Participants can collect fallen pinecones and leaves along the trails.
Route A spans 13.8 kilometers from the mountain entrance to Panlong Waterfall. Route B, only two kilometers long, passes Changhong Waterfall, Shenfeng Cave, Xiangshuitan Waterfall, the Geological Micro Museum, and other premium attractions. Route C, a shaded path by flowing streams, stretches for 5.5 kilometers.
Please only collect leaves that have naturally fallen. Do not pick leaves and fruits from trees. Please take home a colorful autumn memento, and leave trees to grow undisturbed.
