Covering 20,000 square meters, the open-air theater creates a spectacular performance setting featuring a traditional Chinese-style corridor, silver-thread ancient architecture, lake views, an elevating stage, and high-altitude aerial rigging. Throughout the performance, more than 100 special effects take turns unfolding, including naked-eye 3D water screens, laser fountains, aerial performances, and intangible cultural heritage “iron flower” fireworks. The immersive experience brings the rich culture of Sichuan to life and showcases the captivating interplay of intangible cultural heritage, poetry, traditional Chinese music, and martial arts.

Night Cruise on Jinjiang River

 

 

The Night Cruise on Jinjiang River has recently introduced a new themed “Fun Cruise”. More than a boat ride, it is a floating theater on Jinjiang River, where music, stories, interactive experiences, laughter, and a few delightful surprises accompany the passengers along the way.

 

 

Boarding: Passengers may have their tickets checked at the entrance beside the ticketing service booth at Dongmen Wharf for the Night Cruise on Jinjiang River.

Departures: Boats depart on a rolling schedule from 20:00 to 21:30 at an interval of approximately 50 minutes.

 

Lu You—Journey Back to Yanhua Pool

 

 

The 60-minute performance adopts an innovative immersive, walk-through model, which combines live performances, water shows, digital light and shadow, projection mapping, holographic technology, and installation art. Through diverse expression, it vividly retells the life and sentiments of Lu You during his time serving in Chongzhou (historically known as Shuzhou) in the Southern Song Dynasty.

Journey to the Three Kingdoms

 

 

Journey to the Three Kingdoms: The Burning of Red Cliffs runs for approximately 60 minutes. Powered by digital control technology, the performance combines 3D laser projection, live fire effects, a giant water screen, and panoramic audio to recreate the spectacular Battle of Red Cliffs across the expansive waters, where the blazing flames engulf the battlefield, setting the river ablaze.
