On July 15, Sichuan Province Airport Group announced that, starting from 06:00 on July 30, some passenger flights to and from China’s Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions currently operated at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) Terminal 1 will be gradually transferred to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU) Terminal 1.

 

 

 

Tips from Sichuan Province Airport Group:

 

 

1. After the transfer, CTU and TFU will both operate passenger flights to and from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. Passengers are advised to confirm their departure and arrival airport information in advance before travel to avoid going to the wrong airport.

 

2. Check-in deadlines for passenger flights to and from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan at the two airports:

Air China, Sichuan Airlines, and Shenzhen Airlines: 45 minutes before the scheduled flight departure;

China Eastern Airlines: 50 minutes before the scheduled flight departure;

Xizang Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines, Air Macau, China Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, and EVA Air: 60 minutes before the scheduled flight departure.

Passengers are advised to allow sufficient time and arrive at the airport early to complete check-in procedures.
