Dujiangyan City operates its summer nighttime bus services in scenic areas on a regular basis from July 1 to August 31, 2026, covering a total of 62 days.

 

 

In response to special circumstances, such as holiday travel peaks, unexpected surges in passenger volume, and extreme weather conditions, bus operating hours and service frequencies will be adjusted dynamically and extended as needed to fully accommodate needs for nighttime travel.

 

 

The extended services comprise dedicated tourist routes, a regular bus line, and a nighttime loop. They connect Mount Qingcheng, Lidui Park, South Bridge, Blue Tears, Sunac Resort, and the Ancient Town of Guan County with key metro stations, high-speed railway hubs, and urban hotel clusters. Together, they create a comprehensive transportation network for nighttime travel across the city.

 

 

Dedicated Tourist Bus Routes

 

 

Four dedicated tourist bus routes in scenic areas now operate as non-stop direct services, significantly reducing travel time. Several routes have extended their last evening departures to after 21:00. They aim to accommodate the needs of returning passengers to metro and high-speed railway stations.

 

1.Dujiangyan Irrigation System Scenic Area ⇌ Mount Qingcheng Scenic Area Route

During the extended nighttime service period (18:00-21:30), a new stop is introduced at Sunac Resort. The addition links two key scenic areas with the cultural tourism business district.

Similarly, Bus 4 (Dujiangyan High-Speed Railway Station ⇌ Caijing Building/Xuanhuamen) operates on an extended schedule. With direct access to the core area of the Ancient Town of Guan County, the bus line caters to both residents’ nighttime commuting needs and visitors’ needs for traveling to explore the ancient town and enjoy the night view of the South Bridge.

Dedicated Nighttime Loop

 

 

This summer, Dujiangyan City will introduce a new nighttime loop starting from Yulei Mountain Square, which will operate daily from 19:00 to 22:00 with departures every 30 minutes. Buses may depart once full, allowing services to respond flexibly to passenger demand.

 

Buses will start from Yulei Mountain Square and pass through Wenmiao Street, Outer Beijie Street, Jianshe Road, Dujiangyan Avenue, Guanjing Road (1st Ring Road), Taiping Street, Jiang’an Road, and Tianyi Street, among others. The loop will provide convenient access to Yangtianwo Square, Blue Tears, the streets and alleys of the Ancient Town of Guan County, and hotel clusters along the 1st Ring Road.
