On May 8, the tourist bus route between Dujiangyan Scenic Area and Wangcong Temple Station on Chengdu Metro Line 6 began operation, offering a convenient transport service of approximately one hour.

 

The new route spans 35 kilometers in total length, with a one-way travel time of approximately 55 to 60 minutes. The buses provide a direct connection between the two places without transfers, passing five stops along the way—Libing Square Stop, Minzhu Stop, Juyuan Stop, Chongyi Market Stop, and Jiepai Stop.

 

 

Introductory promotional price: RMB 5.99 per passenger for the first month of operation

Regular price: RMB 10 per passenger starting June 8, 2026

 

Terminals: Dujiangyan Scenic Area and Wangcong Temple Station on Chengdu Metro in Pidu District

Intermediate stops: Libing Square Stop, Minzhu Stop, Juyuan Stop, Chongyi Market Stop, and Jiepai Stop

 

Dujiangyan Scenic Area: 06:40-18:00

Wangcong Temple Station: 08:00-19:20

Interval: 25-40 minutes

The number of buses will be dynamically adjusted according to passenger demand.
