Chengdu Public Transport Group has recently launched new themed buses for passengers to experience the unique romance of everyday Chengdu, immerse themselves in the charm of Bashu culture, and appreciate Tianpeng peonies up-close for their remarkable grace.

Transformed into a “moving amusement park”, the bus departs from beneath the iconic “I AM HERE” panda sculpture hanging on the wall of Chengdu IFS and passes through Chunxi Road, Dongmen Wharf, Living Water Garden, and other landmarks in Jinjiang District, blending Chengdu’s nighttime views with an immersive experience onboard.
A 50-minute night tour turns passengers from sightseers into party stars. Nostalgic snacks prepared on the bus offer fun for all ages, while stories about Chengdu shared by performers add a cultural touch to the night trip.
Ticket: RMB 58 per passenger.
The bus departs at 19:30 daily from Monday to Thursday. Additional departure is available at 18:30 daily from Friday to Sunday.

The “Fun Ride—Folk Vocal Art Bus”, launched by Chengdu Public Transport Group in partnership with Sichuan Research Institute of Chinese Folk Vocal Art Forms, is a 42-seat double-decker sightseeing bus that follows a loop route connecting Chengdu IFS, Binjiang Road, Wuhou Shrine, Jinli Ancient Street, Qingyang Palace, Kuanzhai Valley, and other core attractions. A one-way ride lasts from 60 to 70 minutes. Each trip features a range of classic intangible cultural heritage performances, including Sichuan’s folk music “Qingyin”, Chinese hammered dulcimer “Yangqin”, and Sichuan oral performing arts “Jinqianban” and “Xiangshu”.

Ticket: RMB 69 per passenger.
The bus departs at 15:00 every Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday.

At present, the peonies at Danjing Mountain Scenic Area are at their peak bloom, covering the hillsides in full splendor.
