Air China, China Eastern Airlines, and China Southern Airlines have recently issued announcements on the protection of passenger rights and the introduction of several measures to ensure fair ticketing practices.

 

Passengers who have purchased flight tickets may log in to the “Air China” (中国国航) app or the “Air China” (中国国际航空) mini program and complete real-name registration to check their itinerary, fare, and taxes. If any discrepancies are found between the displayed information and the actual purchase, they may contact the customer service hotline at 95583 for assistance. Once verified, Air China will refund the price difference and take strict action against the parties involved in accordance with its sales agent agreements.

 

 

Passengers who have purchased a passenger ticket for a direct, one-way domestic flight operated by Air China through the “Air China” app or mini program and have subsequently purchased a new ticket at a lower price for the same passenger and itinerary through any domestic sales channels may, within the specified period, apply for a free refund for the original eligible ticket.

 

Passengers who register on or log in to the “Air China” app or mini program to purchase tickets are eligible for the annual “2+2+2” worry-free ticketing package, which includes two unconditional refund vouchers for domestic flights, two for international and regional flights, and free or discounted refund options within two hours of purchase.

 

Passengers who have purchased tickets may log in to the “China Eastern Airlines” (东方航空) app or the “China Eastern Airlines” (中国东方航空) WeChat Mini Program and select “Ticket Verification” under the “Service Center” to verify their tickets and check fare and tax details after entering required information. If any discrepancies are found between the displayed information and the actual purchase, they can report the issue via the “Feedback” under the “Service Center” on the “China Eastern Airlines” app or by contacting the customer service hotline at 95530. Once verified, China Eastern Airlines will refund the price difference and take measures against the parties involved in accordance with relevant agreements.

 

 

 

If the price of a purchased ticket drops, passengers who have purchased a new ticket for the same itinerary through the same channel within 24 hours of the previous purchase may, subject to certain conditions, apply for a free refund for the original ticket.

 

Passengers who have purchased tickets may choose the “Two-Hour Full Refund” option on China Eastern Airlines’ official website or its app within two hours of the purchase and at least 12 hours prior to the flight departure. Passenger tickets that meet certain conditions are eligible for up to two free refunds within 180 days.

 

Passengers who have purchased tickets may log in to the “China Southern Airlines” (南方航空) app or the “China Southern Airlines” (中国南方航空) WeChat Mini Program, select “Itinerary” at the bottom of the page, and enter required information to verify their itinerary and fare.

 

 

If any discrepancies are found during verification, such as inconsistencies between the ticket price and the itinerary receipt, excessive change or cancellation fees, or additional charges for free special services, passengers may report the issue via the “China Southern Airlines” app or mini program or by contacting the customer service hotline at 95539. Once verified, China Southern Airlines will refund the price difference.

 

If passengers who have purchased a ticket for a domestic flight through China Southern Airlines’ official channels find that the ticket price has dropped, they may apply for a free refund for the original ticket within 24 hours of ticket issuance after purchasing a new ticket.
