According to Meituan Travel’s latest statistics as of December 21, the growth of bookings for cultural tourism activities on New Year’s Day in Sichuan has reached 122%, and Chengdu ranks second among China’s most popular cities for New Year’s Eve. Tourists from Shenzhen, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and other cities are choosing Sichuan Province as their holiday destination, driving a year-on-year increase of over 120% in bookings for top-tier star-rated hotels in the province.
