Starting December 28, Chengdu will launch direct flights to Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, reducing the travel time to approximately four hours. Subsequently, on December 30, Chengduwill inaugurate a direct air route to Almaty, Kazakhstan. Additionally, domestic and international airlines are set to open two new international air routes from Chengdu to Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville, Cambodia, in the near future.
