Starting November 20, the new policy for “Online Arrival Card Filling for Foreigners” has been implemented at Chengdu’s aviation ports. The policy significantly reduces the waiting time for foreign nationals upon arrival. Foreign travelers to China can now complete their entry declaration in advance through multiple online platforms, including the official website and the government service platform of the National Immigration Administration (NIA), the “NIA 12367” app, the WeChat (Alipay) Mini Program, and the QR code for arrival card filling. For those unable to declare online in advance, they may scan the QR code for arrival card filling via mobile devices upon arrival at immigration checkpoints of Chinese ports, complete entry declaration on on-site smart devices, or fill out the traditional paper-based arrival card for foreigners.
