Malaysia Airlines intends to commence its Chengdu service on January 9, 2026, offering daily round-trip direct flights between Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and Kuala Lumpur. Currently, multiple domestic and international airlines operate direct flights on this route. With Malaysia Airlines’ entry, there will be five daily direct flights from Chengdu to Kuala Lumpur, with flight schedules spanning from morning to evening. This will significantly facilitate travel between the two cities.
