From 22 September to 22 October, Kempinski Hotels in China will host the “Seven Cities, Seven Flavors” Time Lounge Journey, connecting its properties in Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Xiamen, Nanjing, and Jinan. The initiative introduces regionally inspired beverages to highlight local culture within the group’s executive lounges.

During the day, visitors can sample coffees and cold-brew teas prepared with local ingredients. In Chengdu, for instance, the lounge features a 12-hour cold brew of Bamboo Leaf Green tea, served with a traditional egg pancake.

Evenings focus on cocktails created as tributes to each city. Highlights include a Sichuan pepper vodka mix in Chengdu, jasmine tea-inspired blends in Beijing, and rose-infused rum in Jinan. Each day, three of the seven city-themed cocktails are served with regional snacks, giving guests a chance to experience multiple local flavors in one setting.

The program also includes a package offering executive room stays with full lounge access. Kempinski notes that the series reflects its aim to combine hospitality with cultural expression, using food and drink to convey the distinct character of different Chinese cities.
