Recently, Sichuan Provincial Tax Service, State Taxation Administration collaborated with tax authorities of Chongqing, Yunnan, and Shaanxi to launch a mutual recognition program for the “Immediate Tax Refund upon Purchase” service across ports of departure. Overseas tourists who benefited from the refund-upon-purchase service following their purchases at designated stores in Sichuan may depart from any of the following airports to complete their customs clearance procedures: Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, Xi’an Xianyang International Airport, Kunming Changshui International Airport, and Lijiang Sanyi International Airport.
