At Chengdu International Aviation Hub High-Quality Development Promotion Conference held on April 25, it was announced that Chengdu will launch or increase the frequency of 14 passenger and cargo international routes to 13 cities in 2025, including Paris, Athens, Milan, Madrid, Dubai, Bali Island, Tokyo, Osaka, Brussels, Penang, Prague, East Midlands, and Jeju. Sichuan has reportedly put its priority to building major thoroughfares for opening-up, withSichuan Province Airport GroupCo., Ltd. aiming to open, resume, or increasethe frequency of 28passenger/cargo international/regional routes this year to bolster global connectivity.
