The Wyndham Grand Chengdu East officially opened on April 15, 2025, marking the first presence of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ luxury “Grand” brand in the Sichuan–Chongqing region. The hotel adds to the growing portfolio of high-end international hotels in Chengdu and serves as a new component in Wyndham’s regional development strategy.

 

Located at No. 89, North Shuwang Avenue, Shiling Subdistrict, the hotel offers convenient transport access—3.7 km from Chengdu East Railway Station, near Metro Line 4’s Shiling Station, and adjacent to the Chengluo Elevated Road. It is also close to Chengdu University and Qinglong Lake Wetland Park, and lies on key routes to several major tourist destinations.
 

The 110-meter building features a contemporary architectural design with bamboo-inspired elements and a champagne-colored Low-E glass curtain wall. The structure adopts a slab-type layout and aims to combine modern simplicity with regional characteristics.

1,606 square meters of multifunctional event space, including meeting rooms and banquet facilities
24 chess and tea rooms
A spa, fitness center, and swimming pool (currently under development)

Wyndham Grand Chengdu East plans to integrate smart hospitality services and incorporate elements of Sichuan culture, with a focus on sustainable operations. The opening contributes to the development of the high-end hospitality market in eastern Chengdu.
