On March 20, Chengdu Tianfutong Financial Services Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Chengdu Jiaozi Financial Holding Group Co., Ltd., launched the “Integration of E-wallets outside the Chinese Mainland with Chengdu Tianfu Tong Transit Codes” service in collaboration with Alipay+. This makes Chengdu the first city in southwestern China to enable full-scenario seamless connectivity for e-wallets outside the Chinese Mainland; AlipayHK became the first e-wallet outside the Chinese Mainland compatible with all Chengdu metro lines. Through Alipay+’s cross-border services, travelers from Chinese Hong Kong can now use AlipayHK to scan QR codes across Chengdu’s 16 metro lines and over 1,700 urban bus routes.
