Chunxi Road is Chengdu's commercial and fashion center. Located in the city's Jinjiang district, Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street is home to hundreds of shops and several large department stores.

 

 

Coming here to browse the shops and taste the local food is a must-do activity for many visitors to Chengdu. The pedestrian street was included on the list of national-level tourist areas in 2022.

 

On both sides of Chunxi Road, you can find centuries-old local brands face-to-face with modern fashion arcades. Tasty snack bars and restaurants serving local dishes are also an attraction for many visitors.

 

Chunxi Road was constructed in 1924 when a powerful regional warlord at the time paid for the urban infrastructure. The hustle and bustle have continued for nearly 100 years, with traditional brands and food shops mixed in a prosperous commercial vibe at Chunxi Road.
