Author: 领事直通车 2023-11-30
In an effort to enhance cross-border travel and support China's high-quality development and extensive opening-up, a unilateral visa-free policy is being trialed for an expanded list of countries. This initiative includes granting visa-free privileges to ordinary passport holders from six nations: France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Malaysia.

Effective from December 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024, citizens of the mentioned countries with ordinary passports can enjoy a visa exemption when entering China for business, tourism, family visits, or transit purposes, with a maximum stay of 15 days. Those who do not qualify for visa exemption must adhere to standard visa application procedures before their entry into China.
