2. Account mode

At the login page, users may choose to use the third-party login through either Alipay, WeChat or Apple Pay based on the preferred mobile payment method. Registration with a mobile phone number is also an option. After successful registration with phone number, users may choose to bind either WeChat or Alipay as a payment method to use the QR code for the ride-and-pay function!

The single trip e-ticket function on the Chengdu Metro mobile app allows passengers to pass through gates even when the mobile phone is offline. In addition, the ride-and-pay model of the single trip e-ticket doesn't require top-up before use, as the fees are calculated and deducted after the ride.

Note: when binding mobile payment to the account, the default setting is password-free payment, and fees will be directly deducted from the mobile payment app without the need to input a password.
