March 14, 2022 marks the sixth anniversary of Chengdu Tianfu International Bio-town launching construction. A total of 170 projects have been settled here, with a total investment of over RMB 110 billion. There are 9 square kilometers of functional compound space for production, living, and ecology. Schools, hospitals, talent apartments, and other supporting facilities are under construction.

On March 14, 2016, Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone (CDHT) and Shuangliu District jointly launched the construction of Chengdu Tianfu International Bio-town. The industrial park sticks to the cooperation principles of "complementary advantages, closed management, professional operation, co-construction, and sharing". It has always maintained rapid development and has initially formed a bio-industry ecosystem with international competitiveness and regional impetus. 

 

Up to now, the Bio-town has attracted 170 projects with a total investment of over RMB 110 billion. It made Chengdu the fourth domestic port after Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou with the ability to provide bonded import services for biological products. The Bio-town completed the customs clearance of human albumin produced by GRIFOLS and CSL Behring, successfully importing the first biological product in bonded logistics mode in Sichuan Province.

 

The settled projects included a batch of Fortune 500 projects such as Sinopharm-CNBG Blood Product Headquarters and Industrial Base and the Innovation Laboratory jointly built by Thermo Fisher Scientific and the Bio-town.
