Recently, the modification of the world’s first aircraft equipped with Collins weather radar newly certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) was completed in Shuangliu District, Chengdu. The technical breakthrough, achieved without prior precedents to follow, not only addresses the maintenance challenges of old and outdated weather radar but also marks a significant step in China’s technological innovation capabilities in the civil aviation maintenance sector.
