Recently, the first Advanced Energy Materials Genetic Engineering Integrated Innovation (Pilot-Scale) Platform in southwestern China was completed and put into operation at Zhichuang Industrial Park in Chengdu Future Science and Technology City. Funded by Chengdu Hi-tech Zone and constructed by Tianfu Jiangxi Laboratory, the platform was Sichuan’s first specialized innovation platform for solid-state battery materials that deeply integrates “material genetic engineering & validation across the entire industrial chain”. Its operation will accelerate the transition in the R&D of solid-state battery materials from “trial and error” to “precision design” and boost the industrialization of next-generation solid-state battery materials with high safety and high specific energy.
